Today, cars rely on several computers to control various systems.  As with all computers, their software needs to be modified or updated from time to time.  At Chase Parkway Volvo, our Volvo Repair Center has  access to the latest improved Volvo software for your car.  We want your Volvo to operate with the latest software and at it's highest possible performance.

Some of the functions that can be optimized include the climate control system, computer engine management and driver information systems.  In addtion, the car's Central Control Unit may be updated as well as systems for Passive safety.  Now, these software upgrades are available for your vehicle completely free of charge* when included in the regular interval service for your Volvo.   As a result of upgrades performed on your vehicle, you may notice changes in some characteristics and operations, such as seat belt reminder logic, climate system and drivability behavior.  This service upgrade is available on all 2000 and newer Volvo cars, excluding 2000 - 2004 S&V 40 and 2000 - 2005 C70 models.  Please contact our service department for details.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday,  7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  Fridays, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Service pick up is available until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in the service department. Late night pickup is available in the showroom, Monday through Thursday until 7:45 p.m.  Please allow 2 to 4 working days to schedule an appointment for your vehicle.   We would be glad to arrange alternate transportation for you when your vehicle is in for service, if needed. Please let us know of your needs when you schedule your appointment.

If your vehicle is covered by Volvo’s On-Call Plan, 24 hour roadside assistance is available by calling 1-800-638-6586 (1-800-63VOLVO). For all other emergency needs, please call Karas Motors at (203) 597 8899. 

 Our voice mail system is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. An Early Bird/Late Night drop off is available at the entrances on either side of the service building . Please fill out one of the envelopes, available from the box mounted near the door, insert your keys and drop the envelope through the slot provided on the door. Please be sure to leave a daytime phone number in case we have to contact you.  We try to accommodate emergency repairs as soon as possible.
